Sycophancy

UPCC president, Rita Bahuguna Joshi's comment on how sincere Rahul Gandhi was when he forced his pilot to land in zero visibility so that he wouldn’t miss his commitment of meeting people would have had most of the sensible people in splits. Who would override the pilot's decision about safe and unsafe landing? Not sensible folks atleast! In her attempt to (probably) appease the high command she ended up in quite an awkward position because within minutes the junior most Gandhi quickly gave a press statement saying he had done no such thing. In his own words - "I am a pilot and I am absolutely aware of the dangers of flying in low visibility conditions. I will be the last person to do it."

I have been waiting for the UPCC president's next remark but so far none have been forthcoming.
